This salted caramel syrup recipe is simple to make and is guaranteed not to harden after 20 minutes!
You need to move quickly so make sure you’ve read the recipe fully and have all your ingredients ready to go before you begin. Start light with the sea salt then add more to your taste. You’ll end up with the best homemade caramel sauce.
This is the perfect homemade salted caramel recipe. It’s wonderful paired with coffee or chocolate flavoured desserts, or drizzled on top of ice cream or a chocolate chip cookie!

Add the glucose (1), milk and double cream into a saucepan and mix over medium heat until steaming (but not boiling).
In a separate saucepan, add the glucose (2) and sugar and heat over a medium heat until it turns into a deep caramel colour.
Pour the warm cream mixture over the heated sugar and stir over the heat for 1 minute.
Take off the heat and add the butter and salt. Blend with a hand blender until smooth. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
